BASES updates call-in line

January 4, 2022/By: Bluewater Association for Safety, Environment, and Sustainability

The Board of Directors for Community Awareness & Emergency Response (CAER) is pleased to announce the creation of the new BASES Hotline call-in number as part of the continued rollout of the Bluewater Association for Safety, Environment, and Sustainability (BASES) brand.

Community Awareness Notifications from BASES members will now post automatically to this Hotline, which can be reached by dialing 1-226-778-4611. These audio messages will simultaneously post to the new www.lambtonbases.ca, as well as through the My Community Notification Network (MyCNN) application.

This level of communication demonstrates a clear commitment by BASES member companies to the community through open, timely, and transparent updates for non-emergency and emergency events. Should an incident require action from the public, instructions will be provided by Municipal emergency response leaders, which will be communicated using these same tools established by CAER.

All industry and municipal response teams encourage Sarnia-Lambton area residents to visit BASES to register for MyCNN and select the notifications they would like to receive.

BASES represents a commitment to regional excellence made across Sarnia-Lambton by working collaboratively with our communities, all levels of government, First Nations, local contractors, building and construction trades, and Lambton College.
