CAER Community Awareness Notification – Suncor Sarnia Refinery

Incident Details: At approximately 5:00 p.m today, the Suncor Sarnia refinery will begin the process of re-starting units following maintenance activity. During this time, you may notice periods of increased flaring and a possible increase in noise levels. The flaring is expected to last throughout the night and be complete by tomorrow morning. We are conducting perimeter monitoring as an added safety precaution.
