Sarnia-Lambton is home to a long history of collaboration between industry and government response teams to continually improve emergency preparedness and procedures. Standardized notification protocols trigger equipment and personnel deployment based on scenario requirements. Our model of mutual aid and unified command ensures that emergency resources across the region are available to any member site at any time as needed. We actively engage communities through activities, events, workshops, and the sharing of information to ensure residents are aware of how to plan, prepare, and respond to all types of emergencies.
