CAER Community Awareness Notification – Suncor Sarnia Refinery

Incident Details: Beginning this afternoon, the Suncor Sarnia refinery will begin the process of safely shutting down process units for a period of planned maintenance. During this time, you may notice periods of increased flaring and noise. While the maintenance activity will occur over the next three (3) weeks, we only expect flaring during start up and shutdown activities. We have provided information to CAER and the Spills Action Centre.
