November 10, 2022/By: Bluewater Association for Safety, Environment, and Sustainability
Last month, the Bluewater Association for Safety, Environment, and Sustainability (BASES) welcomed their new General Manager, Jason Vaillant to the team.
Born and raised in Sarnia-Lambton, Jason has spent the past 25 years working in the oil & gas industry and with the federal government leading teams and projects across Canada and the United States. Jason most recently held the position of Vice President, Communications & Outreach for the Canadian Fuels Association, and previously spent 15 years with Suncor in Communications & Stakeholder Relations.
Jason is an experienced leader with a comprehensive knowledge of local industry and is committed to continuing the great work of BASES and its three legacy organizations, focusing on the protection of Sarnia-Lambton’s workers, residents and the environment.
Jason openly believes that Sarnia-Lambton is an exceptional place to work, and after living out of town for several years, is thrilled to be returning home and working with the BASES team, its stakeholders, and community partners throughout the region. Outside of work, Jason likes staying active at the rink and on the golf course, boating on beautiful Lake Huron, and spending time with family and friends.
Please join the BASES team in welcoming Jason to his new role.
