CAER Community Awareness Notification – Suncor Sarnia Refinery

Incident Details: Beginning today, Wednesday, March 15, the Suncor Sarnia refinery will begin the process of shutting down units in preparation for its planned maintenance turnaround. This process is expected to occur over the next two weeks and during this time community members may notice periods of increased flaring and noise. We will be conducting perimeter monitoring during this process and have provided information of this activity to CAER and the Spills Action Centre.
