CAER Community Awareness Notification – Suncor Sarnia Refinery

Incident Details: Beginning this afternoon, the Suncor Sarnia refinery will begin the process of re-starting a unit following maintenance activity. During this time, you may notice periods of increased flaring noise. We expect this activity to last through the night and into tomorrow morning. We are conducting perimeter monitoring as an added safety precaution and have provided information to CAER and the Spills Action Centre.
