Incident Details: This is Plains Midstream Canada at approx. 12:00pm today we experienced a vapour release an on- site personnel exposure at our rail loading rack. Operations have responded to the product release and incident was stabilized at approx. 13:40hrs. We immediately sounded the plant siren and activated our emergency response plan. All personnel accounted for and All Clear was sounded at 1400hrs, BASES Code 8 cleared at that time. There were no environmental impacts; injured worker cleared to return to regular duties. INTRODUCING
Effective, January 1, 2024, the industrial Education Co-operative (IEC), Community Awareness Emergency Response (CAER), and Sarnia-Lambton Environmental Association (SLEA) will officially become the Bluewater Association for Safety, Environment, and Sustainability (BASES).
As Sarnia-Lambton's Industry Partner, BASES will build on the extraordinary achievements of its three legacy organizations that have been built over the past seventy years, with a focus on worker safety, emergency preparedness, and environmental monitoring within Sarnia-Lambton.
