CAER Community Awareness Notification – Suncor Sarnia Refinery

Incident Details: The Suncor Sarnia refinery will begin a period of planned maintenance on its Flare Gas Recovery Unit tonight. As a result, there is the potential for periods of increased flaring and noise from July 8 to 16. As always, we will work to minimize the need for flaring. During this time we will conduct perimeter monitoring as an added safety precaution and will provide information to the Spills Action Centre.
