NOVA Chemicals Community Notification

Incident Details: Today, Wednesday, October 9, community members may notice increased activity at the NOVA Chemicals St. Clair River Site (285 Albert St, Corunna, ON) due to the BASES Emergency Response Simulation. The exercise, which is being co-hosted with St. Clair Township, will occur between approximately 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. During this time, community members may notice emergency response vehicles, including fire trucks, as well as the use of a drone at the St. Clair River Site. This annual exercise helps us, as well as municipal emergency responders, test and validate emergency response plans in a safe environment.
