CAER Community Awareness Notification – Suncor Sarnia Refinery

Incident Details: The Suncor Sarnia refinery will be conducting an emergency response drill this morning beginning at 9:00 a.m. Due to the nature of the scenario, community members may notice the movement of a boat and boom deployment on the St. Clair River, an increase in activity and potentially, the presence of a fire truck at our dock area off River Road. Should an emergency occur during this time, immediate notification will be provided via the regular channels. Emergency response exercises help us test and validate our emergency response plans in a safe learning environment.
