Incident Details: Our Moore Site facility is continuing maintenance activities which have resulted in extended periods of elevated flaring and noise. The duration of the event is anticipated to last until September 5, 2025. Should the flaring extend beyond this timeframe we will issue a further update related to this maintenance work. Flares are important safety devices that safely burn excess hydrocarbon gases that cannot be recovered or recycled. Our flare systems must meet strict environmental controls as well as NOVA Chemicals' process safety and Responsible Care standards. When you see flaring, please be assured that flares play a key role in keeping our facilities running safely.
