EP Day Returns for its 14th Year!

March 27, 2025/By: Bluewater Association for Safety, Environment, and Sustainability

The region’s largest emergency preparedness event is back after a five-year hiatus. Emergency Preparedness (EP) Day 2025, presented by BASES Emergency Preparedness, will take place on Saturday, May 10, from 10am to 2pm at Lambton College. Brought to you in part by Suncor and Shell, this FREE, family-friendly event provides an opportunity for residents to engage with emergency responders, explore hands-on displays, and gain essential skills to manage real-life emergencies.

“Emergency Preparedness Day is an opportunity for the community to learn from industry and emergency response experts while seeing firsthand the resources we have available in the region,” says Tracy Krull, Senior Communications Advisor for BASES.

The event will feature live demonstrations, workshops, emergency vehicles, and interactive exhibits, including a FREE Kids’ Fun Zone with inflatables and face painting. A charity BBQ will also be available on-site with proceeds going to The Rotary Club of Sarnia.

Exhibitors are still welcome! If you’re interested in showcasing your organization’s emergency preparedness resources or products, we’re accepting exhibitor registrations.

Date: Saturday, May 10, 2025, 10am – 2pm
Location: Lambton College – Indoor exhibits in Gym D, Outdoor exhibits in Parking Lot 13 (north parking lot)

As EP Day marks its 14th year, this event continues to play a key role in fostering a safer, more prepared community. Admission is free, and everyone is welcome!
