Imperial Sarnia Community Notification

Incident Details: Imperial is currently managing a minor carryover of biomass from its water treatment plant into the St. Clair River. This occurred this morning and been contained within the site’s outfall. Booms have been placed within that area of the river. This has been reported to the Ministry of Environment, Conservation, and Parks. As a precaution, a vac truck is at that area to prevent another carryover occurrence.
