INEOS Community Notification

Incident Details: INEOS Styrolution would like to notify the public and its industrial neighbours that, as part of the MECP-approved Benzene Removal Plan (Part A), we will begin benzene transfers via pipeline starting today. Extensive environmental modeling confirmed there is no anticipated off-site increase in benzene emissions resulting from this transfer. At INEOS Styrolution, the health and safety of our community, employees, and the environment remain our highest priorities. We will continue to monitor emissions through onsite systems and perform increased handheld inspections to ensure safe operations. Should any potential benzene emissions arise, we are committed to investigating the sources promptly and providing additional information as necessary.
